USKBA RELEASES TWO NEW USKBA ACTION SPORTS TRADING CARDS

The USKBA just released the two newest USKBA ACTION SPORTS Trading Cards in their first set...Christina Rondeau and Donnie Carolei. USKBA ACTION SPORTS Trading Cards are available at all USKBA Sanctioned events. When attending a USKBA Sanctioned event, if you do not see the USKBA ACTION SPORTS Trading Cards displayed, be sure to ask the USKBA Representative. There will be ten cards in each set of USKBA ACTION SPORTS Trading Cards. Collect them all! Joining the first two cards of USKBAbabes Paige and Lauren, will be:

The front of the trading card has four different poses of Christina Rondeau. The back of the trading card contains some interesting statistics and information on her along with information on the company sponsoring her trading card. USKBA ACTION SPORTS BOOTH AT "ACTION MARTIAL ARTS MEGA WEEKEND" DRAWS STAR POWER

This past weekend's "Action Martial Arts Mega Martial Arts Weekend" (January 14-16, 2005), at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City NJ, provided some great contacts and great memories. On Friday and Saturday, USKBA ACTION SPORTS had a booth at the trade show. On Sunday, we hung around to see the WAKO World Trials Tournament run by Don Rodrigues and Tom Festa.

The USKBA ACTION SPORTS booth at the trade show attracted many stars and notable martial artists. We aren't sure if the attraction was our booth, or the fact that kickboxing champion Christina Rondeau was the special guest at our booth. In any event, most everyone stopped by. The greatest honor came when Master Marty Manuel (see photo at left; l to r, Linda, Christina Rondeau, Master Marty Manuel, Orlando Nieves) visited our booth. For anyone who does not know who Master Marty Manuel is, please do a search on the internet for "Marty Manuel". His accomplishments in the martial arts are too numerous for this article. His accomplishments in life would not be adequately conveyed through one article. Master Manuel has always offered to help the USKBA in any way and has never refused when his prior schedule did not conflict. He has provided many excellent kickboxers for USKBA Sanctioned events. Master Manuel is one of the reasons why people stay involved in our sports. From the beginning of the USKBA, we are proud to call him a 'friend'. And if Master Manuel's visit wasn't enough, we met up with... Don "The Dragon" Wilson, Cynthia Rothrock, Phil Morris, Chuck Zito, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Bill Wallace, Orlando Rivera, Alan Goldberg, Don Rodrigues, Jonas Nunez. Tom Ingargiola, Kadir, Joel Levy, Ken Hewski, Brayner Martinez, Orlando Nieves, Antoine "The Joker" McCray, Debbie Ramirez and new baby...and apologies to anyone we left out. Christina Rondeau, accompanied by a few of her students (Toni Leone, Jaclyn Morse and Colleen Chopy), unveiled her new "Rondeau's Xtreme Fitness Program" for the USKBA. "Rondeau's Xtreme Fitness Program" will be the official kickboxing fitness program of the USKBA. It is geared toward anyone wanting a general fitness program and fighters who want to gain stamina. The studio owners she talked with were very interested in implementing the program at their studios. The complete program will be ready to go out shortly. The final touches on the DVD and the Instruction Manual are in the process of completion. Also unveiled at the USKBA ACTION SPORTS booth, was the addition of two new USKBA ACTION SPORTS Trading Cards featuring Christina Rondeau and USKBA Head Official Donnie Carolei. The USKBA ACTION SPORTS Trading Cards are available at all USKBA Sanctioned events.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT - USKBA FITNESS DIVISION

The USKBA is proud to announce the formation of its USKBA Fitness Division.

This new division will focus on our action sports and place an emphasis on aerobic and impact drills. The USKBA Fitness Division is a collaboration between the USKBA and well known champion kickboxer, trainer and personality Christina Rondeau (www.rondeauskickboxing.com). Ms. Rondeau is developing a program, that can be implemented in any studio or training center, that will be of interest to all fighters and anyone with a desire to either get in shape or stay in shape. Ms. Rondeau will also be certifying instructors in this new program to implement it in their own facilities. The certification will also include marketing, motivation, merchandise...and much more! * In 1990, Christina Rondeau stepped into a martial arts studio and never left. She fell in love with the art and its values. Christina didn't know it, but while she was attending college her true career was unfolding in front of her. She earned her Black Belt and was competing in Sport Karate Tournaments all over the United States and Europe. As a recipient of over 200 trophies and awards from martial arts tournaments, and being the women's overall fighting champion 2 years in a row, Christina decided to take another step in her martial arts career and began kickboxing. After an unbeaten amateur record, Christina turned professional in 1998. As a member of the USA WAKO Kickboxing Team, she has traveled all over the world competing in kickboxing tournaments. As a coach of several women fighters, she has others winning titles by her side. Her knowledge and experience is invincible. As a professional kickboxer, Christina achieved her goal of being the best by fighting LIVE on Pay Per View and winning the United States Lightweight Title. As of March 2000, Christina also made her debut as a professional boxer and was immediately endorsed by Puma. She has appeared in over 200 newspaper articles and has recently been seen on NESN Sports, Cosmopolitan Magazine ("Fun, Fearless, Female" Award Winner), YM Magazine and local news channels.
