Kickboxathon Ever!
Please arrive much earlier to warm up &
check in!
Proceeds: The Blackstone Valley
Advocacy Shelter for Domestic Violence.
Fee: The Kickboxathon
recquires you to get a minimum of $100 in sponsors. All checks for
the kickboxathon entry fee/donation can be made payable to:
Rondeau's Kickboxing. Participants are asked to turn in all
donations and entry fees prior to the event at Rondeau's
Kickboxing.
Prizes: All participants
recieve a Free (new design) RKB t-shirt for entering.
Rondeau's Kickboxing awards trophies to the top 3 finishers of
the entire Kickboxathon. The best part is when participants are
finishing the event and doing the ab exercises we pull your names
out of a prize bowl and give away tons of prizes that are
donated to us for this event.
What to Bring: Refreshments,
Restrooms and Ample Parking will be available to all participants.
Please wear a RKB tshirt to the event and bring a towell or mat so
your comfortable on the ground doing your ab exercises. You will
need your handwraps, pads and gloves. Bring extra water and a
healthy snack. This will be alot of fun! Bring your Friends and Family to cheer you
on this will be a great accomplishment for you!
What to Expect: You will arrive
early and check in. The kickboxathon starts sharply at 9am. You run
or walk and when you finish you head over to the RKB area and start
your 10 rounds of pads and gloves. We will have Instructors and
volunteers there to hold pads and lead you through the 10 rounds.
Christina will be calling out the techniques and she will make you
work just like in class. As soon as you finish your 10 rounds, all
in a row, you then head over to the area where we will be
doing the 1,000 ab exercises. Once again instructors will be calling
out different ab exercises to you. You will be motivated and coached
through the entire event

Sept.
2005 Kickboxathon Results The Kickboxathon
was a great success because of all of You! Thank you for
participating and taking on the challenge! We were able to
raise over $1,000 for the Smithfield Lions and Blackstone Valley
Advocacy Shelter! Top 3 finishers were awarded trophies
along with a 1st place prize of $100! All participants were
eligable for different gift
certificate from our very generous friends at : Snookers,
Pizzeria Uno, Tortilla Flats, Garbolina's, Juicy Smoothies
and Jill's Nails. We are very thankful to Jim Stein of
the Smithfield Lions for allowing us to participate at their 5K
event.
A Big High Five goes out to
everyone who took on the challenge! New students "Ariel & Tina"
great job, Cheryl - injury and all you proved that you can "suck
it up", Rebecca and Dawn with their little one's along for the ride
- that is true perserverance! Cheron - No more "I can'ts" from you
because you keep proving that "You Can" - and to all the girls with
some serious skill, power and endurance.. Dawn, Julie, Amanda, Pam,
Chris, Heather, Robin, Barabara, Nicole... ...to all the volunteers
and instructors that helped.. Karen, Jessie,Joanne, Jackie,
Lynda, Jane, Bette, Emily, Dawn........Thank YOU!

helps the youth in the community with several outreach programs. We
will be making a donation to help them with there outreach goals.
Fee: We are participating in
the Smithfield Lions 5K so participants must fill out a 5K entry
form and submit that with the $15 entry fee. The Kickboxathon

**Each year
Rondeau's Kickboxing holds a Kickboxathon which participants are
asked to complete a 3 mile run/walk, 10 rounds of
Kickboxing and 1,000 abdominal exercises. Students of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to
participate and help raise money for a good cause.

In 2002 RKB raised
money for the Woman & Infants Healing Gardens. In 2003 &
2004 RKB raised money to support the Blackstone Valley Advocacy
Shelter.
A Big
Thank You goes out to all students, members and
instructors who help and participate in this event. It's only a success because of You
!
